Lecture by Dan Egan, “What Lurks in the Great Lakes? Pipelines, Invasive Species and Other Underwater Perils”

Dan Egan has twice been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. He has won the Oakes Award, the National Headliner Award, and the J. Anthony Lukas Work-in-Progress Award. A graduate of the Columbia Journalism School, he lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Freshwater Stories is a digital storytelling site focusing on Lake Michigan that addresses infrastructure development, energy generation, waste water, and environmental and social justice to advance the growing movement for a blue economy and Great Lakes Water Belt.
